Therapy for Panic, Phobias, & Anxiety
You’re not too sensitive. You’re not being dramatic.
Your nervous system is just stuck in survival mode.
Maybe your chest tightens out of nowhere. Maybe your mind won’t shut the fuck up with all the worst-case scenarios. Or maybe you’ve been avoiding anything unpredictable just to keep the panic from swallowing you whole. You’re tired of trying to “calm down” when your body’s flipping into full-blown alert mode without your permission.
Anxiety can sneak in like a low hum or hit like a goddamn freight train. Phobias can make you feel crazy, even though they feel very real in your body. Panic? That shit can feel like dying. This isn’t just you being “too much.” This is trauma, stress, & survival-mode tangled up together.
It’s not just about thinking positive.
You’ve already tried deep breaths, journaling, & telling yourself to get it together.
This shit goes deeper.
Let’s be real: if breathing exercises alone could’ve fixed this, they would’ve by now. Anxiety isn’t just in your head—it’s woven into your body, your past, your wiring. EMDR helps get to the root of the chaos, the old memories or patterns your brain still thinks are happening right now.
We’re not going to pretend your fear doesn’t exist—we’re going to teach your brain it doesn’t need to scream anymore. You’ll stop fighting your own nervous system & finally feel safe in your body again.
Why EMDR?
Because your brain isn’t broken—it’s just doing too fucking much to keep you alive.
When you’re dealing with anxiety, panic, or phobias, your brain thinks it’s helping. It’s scanning for threats, replaying worst-case scenarios, keeping you hyper-aware, jumpy, & exhausted as hell. But that survival mode? It’s stuck on forever loop, even when nothing dangerous is actually happening.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) works by helping your brain finally process the stuff it never got to safely make sense of. Old trauma, stress, experiences you couldn’t control—your nervous system stored that shit, & now it’s reacting like it’s still happening. EMDR goes beyond talking about the problem. It changes how your brain holds onto it.
During EMDR, we activate the memory networks where your panic, fear, or phobia responses live, & gently help your brain move them from “red-alert” to “that was then, this is now.” It’s not about reliving trauma—it’s about releasing it. The fear loosens its grip. The spirals slow down. You stop reacting like everything’s on fire.
This isn’t about coping better—it’s about healing the original wound. So you can fucking live again.
